Next Sunday, May 18th, the Senior Confirmation Class will receive their First Holy Communion at the 11:00 a.m. service.

GOLFERS: If you are playing in tomorrow's golf outing at Scenic Valley, please try to be at the course by 7:45 a.m. to sign in, get your mulligans and have a donut and a cup of coffee. Tentative player groupings and starting hole information is available today on the Deacons’ Tables at the rear of the sanctuary.

Library: The "weeding" has begun! The Church Library volunteers have begun their Spring housecleaning! Please visit the Library and find the "HELP YOURSELF" boxes full of books, videos or cassettes etc. that you might like to have. Thank you for helping us "pull the weeds".

Washington City Mission: Do you like to bake? We are looking for 10-12 bakers to donate items for the Washington City Mission in June. A sign-up sheet will be on the bulletin board across from the elevator. The baked goods will need to be brought to the church Sunday, June 8th and can be left in the kitchen marked Washington City Mission. Lee and Jim MacManus will deliver them to the Mission. Thank you in advance for your support.

Christian Concern will not meet this month. Our next meeting will be June 8th.

The Nursery School at Ruthfred Lutheran Church is taking registrations for the fall of 2008.  Your child must be 3 or 4 years old by September 1st.  For a registration form, call the church office at (412) 835-7140.

Woman of the Year Award: Congratulations to Judy Stewart who was honored as RLCW’s Woman of the Year at the Women’s Spring Banquet. Many thanks to Maggie Hatten, the men and youth, Craft & Sew and all who helped with this annual affair.

GRADUATES: It’s that time of year again when we want to recognize all our graduates.  Please let us know of any college graduates and/or any other graduates (person’s name, name of college, date of graduation, degree). This information will be listed in a future bulletin. The RLCW and the congregation will be honoring our High School Senior graduates on Sunday, June 1st at the 8:30 and 11:00 services.
